Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Current certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure for nuclear medicine technology.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures.
• Strong skills in patient positioning, safety practices, and equipment calibration.
• Effective communication and the ability to provide patient-centered care.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and safety protocols.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards.
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other staff members.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks.
• Educate patients and families regarding the imaging process and expected outcomes.
