Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB
• Valid state licensure as required for nuclear medicine technologists
• Proven experience with nuclear imaging procedures (SPECT, PET/CT, bone scans, cardiac imaging, etc.)
• Competency in radiation safety, patient positioning, and the administration of radiopharmaceuticals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with safety protocols and hospital procedures in an acute care or similar clinical setting
• BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders, quality standards, and applicable regulations
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient and staff safety
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care throughout the imaging process
• Record and maintain accurate patient records and scan data for physician review
• Practice effective radiation safety to minimize exposure in all clinical activities
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support high-quality patient outcomes
