PRN Ultrasound TechThe PRN Ultrasound Tech is responsible for administration and coordination of the Ultrasound department and all its functions. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Works with Imaging Director to maintain ACR accreditation. Demonstrates initiative, insight and judgment in the decision making process. Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and a high level of image quality.Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic sonogram procedures as required: achieve a high level of image qualityBe observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimumObtain patient history as neededAct as an agent to obtain radiologic information to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatmentBe proficient in the technical operation of ultrasound equipment; use proper care in handling equipment.Qualifications:Graduation from a certified Radiological Technology Program and/or a certified Ultrasound program, RDMS certificationPlus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbout MANA Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is an independent physician group that includes family medicine, pediatrics, women's health and an array of specialists and advanced health services.
