Job Description Physical Therapist This position includes a $20,000 Sign‑on Bonus for a twenty-four‑month full‑time commitment. Schedule This is a rare opportunity to join a team of highly experienced Physical Therapists who have tremendous autonomy with their practice and schedules and make decisions collaboratively. It will mostly work Monday‑Friday with an occasional Saturday, but no nights and no call! This is primarily an ortho role with a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases. How You’ll Contribute Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition. Establish a plan of care that is appropriate to identified problems and involves the patient according to their capabilities and desires. Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction in patients. Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient. Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel. Assess competence, delegate specific tasks, and establish channels of communication. Administer treatment involving application of physical agents, using equipment, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines. Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications. Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation. Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy or related field; master’s degree preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
