Job Responsibilities

• Craft Custom Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs to create tailored intervention strategies that help them accomplish their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven therapeutic practices to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activity performance
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide thorough, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about effective therapy methods to promote ongoing improvements at home
• Track Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure patients remain on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications encouraged and facilitated

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
