Position Title Experienced / Mid-Career Software Engineer - Anti-Tamper (AT) Location Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (100% onsite) Summary The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced software security engineer to lead the architecture and development of key computing assets embedded in our defense platforms. The successful candidate will develop and maintain hardware and software-based product security solutions for critical military information and technology. Responsibilities Support the development of documents and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems. Be accountable to program engineering leads for day‑to‑day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns. Demonstrate strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills while working independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi‑site, multi‑discipline program environment. Work on‑site out of Oklahoma City, OK, and be willing to travel up to 10% of the time as required. Obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance after hire (U.S. citizenship required) and be eligible for additional security clearances. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in software development for avionics or real‑time embedded systems/firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java. Ability to develop code that is usable, readable, and maintainable. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of related work experience (or equivalent). 4+ years of experience in avionics or real‑time embedded systems/firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java. 1+ year of experience with configuration management tools such as GitLab. 1+ year of experience utilizing Agile tools like Jira. Technical leadership experience collaborating across multiple teams and locations. Experience working in a DevSecOps environment. Experience with cryptography and other security protocols.
