This team helps vet and onboard DIB companies with the variety of services the CCC Partnerships Team offers.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Capabilities

The Cloud System Administrator Level 2 provides technical support for the implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of secure cloud systems and supporting infrastructure. Responsibilities include day-to-day operations, system monitoring, performance optimization, problem resolution, cloud server configuration, security patching, and infrastructure management.

• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) technical support, including problem identification, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution.

• Configures, maintains, and optimizes cloud infrastructure and servers while supporting Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Net requirements and processes.

• Provisions, operates, and sustains network infrastructure within secure Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Internet Protocol Security (IPsec), and Virtual Private Network (VPN) environments.

• Supports peer-to-peer distributed storage networks, peer-to-peer routing, application messaging frameworks, and highly distributed computing environments.

• Manages and monitors large-scale Hadoop clusters, including environments exceeding 200 nodes, and supports Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) operations.

• Supports open-source NoSQL technologies, including HBase, Accumulo, and Bigtable, for highly distributed, massively parallel computation.

• Applies knowledge of analytical requirements, query syntax, data flows, and network traffic manipulation.

• Develops software automation scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.

• Performs Linux system administration, including SSH remote connectivity, software installation using RPM and YUM, system status collection, and troubleshooting.

• Supports containerized and cloud-based infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Traefik.

• Utilizes Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation to support infrastructure configuration, provisioning, deployment, and automation.

• Supports the CCC Partnerships Team in vetting and onboarding Defense Industrial Base (DIB) companies to available services.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) additional years of experience on projects with similar requirements may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.

• Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certification.

• Five (5) years of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters exceeding 200 nodes.

• Demonstrated experience provisioning, developing, operating, and sustaining network infrastructure within secure PKI-, IPsec-, or VPN-enabled environments.

• Technical experience with peer-to-peer distributed storage networks, peer-to-peer routing, and application messaging frameworks.

• Demonstrated knowledge of analytical requirements, query syntax, data flows, and traffic manipulation.

• Demonstrated work experience with Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of open-source NoSQL technologies supporting highly distributed, massively parallel computation, including HBase, Accumulo, and Bigtable.

• Experience with Linux system administration, including SSH remote connectivity, software installation using RPM and YUM, and system status monitoring.

• Experience with Docker containerization.

• Experience with Helm charts.

• Experience with Ansible configuration management and automation.

• Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation.

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.

• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.

• Experience with Traefik.

Required Technical Skills

• Cloud Administration: Cloud infrastructure implementation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and cloud server management.

• Linux Administration: Linux command-line operations, SSH, RPM, YUM, remote system access, software installation, and system status monitoring.

• Containerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Traefik.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

• Configuration Management: Ansible.

• Hadoop and Distributed Storage: Hadoop cluster administration, Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), and large-scale cluster monitoring.

• NoSQL Databases: HBase, Accumulo, Bigtable, and distributed data processing technologies.

• Networking and Security: PKI, IPsec, VPN, peer-to-peer routing, distributed storage networks, application messaging frameworks, and Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Net requirements.

• Scripting and Automation: Python, Perl, Ruby, and software automation scripting.

• Server Administration and Security: Cloud server configuration, security hardening, patch management, infrastructure maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Data Analysis and Network Operations: Query syntax, analytical requirements, data flows, and traffic manipulation.

• Technical Support: Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, problem identification, diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.

Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
