This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role after successful completion of the assignment.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 2-axis CNC lathesProduce quality parts to exact specifications and close tolerancesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specificationsMeasure and inspect finished parts using precision instrumentsMake machine adjustments to ensure product quality and efficiencyIdentify and report equipment malfunctionsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform basic preventative maintenance on equipmentAssist with process improvements and cost reduction initiativesOperate forklifts and lifting devices as neededCollaborate with supervisors, engineers, quality teams, and production staffQualifications Required:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of CNC machining experienceExperience operating CNC lathes and/or milling machinesStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsKnowledge of geometric tolerancing and dimensionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to precisionReliable attendance and punctualityImmediate availability to start if selectedPreferred Skills:Experience in heavy manufacturing environmentsBasic math skills including geometry and algebraWillingness to learn and grow within the roleTools & Equipment Knowledge:Calipers ID/ODMicrometersDepth GaugesIndicatorsScalesTool holdersCutting toolsBoring barsInserts
