Sales Department Manager - Aaron's Estate Sales

Aaron's Estate Sales | MI Full-time | $52,000 to $100,000+ per year (base + commission) Who We Are We're a family-owned Michigan company of about 30 people. We run estate sales, host specialty auctions, and list houses for sale. Here's the real story: families call us on some of the hardest days of their lives. A parent just passed. Mom is moving into senior care. There's a house full of 40 years of memories and nobody knows where to start. We're the ones who walk in, put a hand on their shoulder, and say "we've got this." And then we actually do. That's the work. It matters, and we take it seriously. We're honest, direct, and we move fast. During busy season, everyone works the estate sales, the owner included. The Job We're looking for someone to lead our sales team, and to help build it. You'll hire and train sales reps, coach them every week, and help them get better. You'll sit down with families in their homes, walk them through how we can help, and earn their trust enough to sign with us. When a situation is complicated, and family situations often are, you step in and handle it yourself. The numbers are yours too. You own the KPIs for the entire sales department: contracts signed, conversion rates, pipeline health, and quotas. You track the targets and work side by side to grow this department with the COO every week. As our real estate side grows, your team grows with it. You'll report directly to the COO and have a real seat at the table. Who We're Looking For The right person for this job can sit at a kitchen table with a grieving family, be genuinely kind and patient with them, and still get the contract signed. If you've done in-home sales, you know exactly what we mean. You'll also need 3+ years of real estate sales experience Experience leading or coaching people.
