Phlebotomist

Responsibilities Represent the face of the company to patients who come in for routine health visits or life‑defining health decisions. Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing according to established practices and procedures. Maintain direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence, sensitivity to confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Conduct forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing with confidence, following established practices and procedures. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required). Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training preferred). Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, Washington). Minimum of 6 months experience (required). One year or more phlebotomy experience preferred. Ability to produce quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric procedures. Flexible and available with staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience required. Shift/Time Zone: Tuesday–Friday 6:30 am–4:00 pm and Saturday 6:00 am–12:00 pm.
