Model Based Systems EngineerLogic is hiring a Model Based Systems Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will contribute to a long-standing national security mission supporting a critical element of a major U.S. defense agency's layered defense architecture. You'll develop systems engineering products that enable the design and evolution of a large-scale, ground-based defensive capability used to help protect the United States. The selected candidate will work within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) product line under an Architecture & Delivery Integrated Product Team. This environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and includes team members with a wide range of experience levels.Required Qualifications:An active, in-scope Secret Security Clearance is required for this positionBachelor's degree in a STEM field, with progressively responsible experience in systems engineering (typically 5+ years at mid-level to 8+ years at senior level)Advanced understanding of systems engineering principles, processes, and lifecycle conceptsHands-on experience with requirements decomposition, requirements management, and traceability (e.g., DOORS)Experience supporting requirement verification through test, analysis, inspection, or demonstrationAbility to plan work independently, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and engage with customers or stakeholdersAbility to work on-site in an office environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with requirement verification methods such as test execution or analysisFamiliarity with complex ground-based defense systemsDemonstrated ability in independent planning, organization, and working across functional teamsUnderstanding of the Systems Engineering V-ModelExposure to MBSE tools and practicesExperience with Agile development approachesINCOSE or Systems Engineering certification.Work Conditions:Work Model: On-siteTravel: MinimalWork Hours: StandardCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
