With specialized training in Misch Surgical Implants and experience as a CEREC Doctors mentor, Dr. Stark provides hands-on mentorship in cutting-edge digital dentistry and surgical assisting.Close-Knit Team Environment: Join a tight-knit 8-person team (2 Dentists, 2 Hygienists, 3 Front Office, and dedicated DAs) that values transparency, gentle care, and mutual support.Central Flagstaff Location: Conveniently situated right off University Avenue near NAU with easy parking and access.What You'll Be DoingAs a Dental Assistant at Flagstaff Smiles, you play a vital role in keeping our clinical day running seamlessly while keeping patients comfortable and reassured:Chairside Assisting: Assist during a full scope of procedures-from general restorations and crowns to cosmetic restorations and implant surgeries.Digital Workflows & Diagnostics: Efficiently capture high-quality digital X-rays, digital impressions, and assist with CEREC CAD/CAM setups.Patient Rapport & Comfort: Seat patients warmly, explain treatment steps clearly, and put nervous or anxious patients at ease.Sterilization & Room Flow: Prepare and sterilize instruments according to strict standards, and turn over exam rooms efficiently to maintain optimal appointment flow.Qualifications & AttributesLicensure & Certifications:Active Arizona Dental Assistant Certification (CDA) required.Active Arizona X-Ray Certification required.Active CPR/BLS Certification required.Experience & Attributes:Experience: 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated, certified DAs with strong core skills and an eagerness to learn advanced workflows are encouraged to apply!Attributes: Punctual (ready to go at 7:30 AM), detail-oriented, team-first mentality, and comfortable working in a multi-operatory environment.Compensation, Benefits & PerksHourly Rate: $19.00 – $22.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)Incentive Bonus: Monthly Team Performance Bonus potential!Full Benefits Package: Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Sick Pay, and Holiday Pay.Predictable Schedule: Consistent daytime schedule (Mon–Thu 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Fri 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM) with no late evenings and no weekend hours.Ready to Join Our Flagstaff Team?If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant looking to expand your surgical and digital skills in a supportive, highly-rated practice, we want to hear from you!
