Security Officer - Full Time Overnight Patrol

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.58 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Wed 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Thu 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Fri 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Sat 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with verifying entry permissions for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with location protocols. Support property operations by reporting maintenance concerns, potential hazards, and policy violations, and/or following post orders for after‑hours coverage and routine checks. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
