Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Area Patrol in El Cajon, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities and site operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:30 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions. Observe equipment areas, exterior gates, and common spaces for suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and communicate findings through required reports and verbal updates. Minimum Requirements: A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
