The Cook's basic function is to prepare and cook food according to established procedures, recipes, menus, meal assignment, and diets.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares food.
- Follows ServSafe sanitary policies and procedures for preparation, storage and service of food.
- Completes cleaning and sanitation assignments.
- Processes, stores, and utilizes leftover foods.
- Instructs and assists meal servers.
- Supports and promotes Wayne UNC Health Care's Guest Relations Policy.
- Supports Wayne UNC Health Care's Corporate Compliance efforts.
