Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN – South Carolina

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13 to 26 week assignment available; 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage required; self-scheduling; patient ratio of 5:1 across all shifts; up to two pre-approved time-off requests per contract

Highlights:

• Adult and geriatric patient population in a 28-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit
• Accountable Care Unit (ACU) model with multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Strong MS/Tele experience required; NIHSS certification mandatory
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Pre-assignment modules billable up to 16 hours; orientation provided on Mondays
• Flexible assignment length with extension opportunities available

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Experience managing patient ratios of 6:1 or comparable
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to other qualified units as needed based on census
