Accounting Manager/Supervisor

DescriptionA growing consumer products company with national and international distribution is seeking an Accounting Manager to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while helping drive accounting accuracy, process improvements, and financial controls across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and cash management.Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor and customer communications, expense reporting, and payment reconciliations.Reconcile sales, inventory, returns, receivables, and expenses across multiple sales channels and business platforms.Assist with audit preparation, financial analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations.Coordinate annual 1099 reporting and support inventory count and reconciliation activities.Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen accounting operations and financial controls.Partner with leadership on special projects and other finance-related initiatives.RequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience within an EDI/ Manufacturing or consumer goods environment.5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a corporate environment.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus.Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, retail, or omnichannel environments is preferred.What You'll BringHands-on experience across general accounting, financial reporting, AP/AR, and reconciliations.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Desire to grow within a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for professional growth within a stable and expanding organization.Location: Boca Raton, FL area (onsite)Employment Type: Full-TimeJob typePerm
