Principal Sourcing Manager

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Indirect Sourcing Manager to join our growing team, reporting to the Director, Indirect Procurement. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in managing two or more indirect categories e.g. HR, IT, Marketing, MRO, Professional Services, Real Estate & Facilities, Transportation & Logistics, T&E & Fleet. The candidate will develop and implement sourcing strategies to capture budget savings or cost reductions, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships. This is not a direct materials procurement role. To encourage collaboration and productivity, employees are required to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday (based on current policy).ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sourcing strategies for a broad range of indirect services and goodsPursue opportunities for significant OpEx and CapEx cost reductions and budget savingsNegotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and termsManage supplier relationships to ensure that they meet or exceed performance expectationsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities align with business objectivesManage and report monthly on savings KPIs to ExecutivesEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in indirect procurement or sourcingExperience in change and continuous process improvementFlexible to manage and support new categoriesStrong negotiation skills and experience negotiating contracts with suppliersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team; and must be a self-starterStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts moduleCompany DescriptionWaters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, dedicated to accelerating the benefits of pioneering science through analytical technologies, informatics, and service.
