Vice President Finance

Munich American Reassurance Company (MARC) is seeking a Vice President of Finance to play a senior leadership role within its U.S. Life finance organization. This role will partner closely with the CFO to oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, expense management, and internal control functions, while helping scale the organization through strategic growth initiatives.

This role offers broad visibility, decision-making authority, and leadership scope across a complex reinsurance platform, with regular exposure to senior leadership, local entity boards, regulators, and global finance counterparts.

Key responsibilities include executive leadership, accounting & financial reporting, treasury & expense management, risk, controls & compliance, and talent & transformation.

Qualifications include a CPA, minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within finance organizations, IFRS and U.S. Statutory accounting experience, demonstrated ability to lead large high performance teams, influence senior stakeholders, and manage complex projects in a global organization. Based in New York with a minimum of 4 days per week in-office presence.
