As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential theft, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing activities, and monitoring of customer and employee traffic in accordance with location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
