Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Monitoring in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and support a welcoming customer experience. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor customer-facing areas, entrances, exits, and merchandise areas for unusual activity and report observations according to site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, stock areas, exterior walkways, and perimeter areas. Document incidents, policy concerns, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to store management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
