Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tour in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailers, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
