As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Credential Issuance in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations through appropriate site channels.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing procedures, and the protection of merchandise and property in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
