Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Log Entry in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access-related concerns. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, vendors, and staff in accordance with site-specific entry procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
