As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Review in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment while using teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach that reflects Allied Universal’s values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, documenting incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence at a government transportation location while communicating clearly with the public, airport personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
