As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Support in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, use computer or tablet systems as needed, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public transit locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, vehicle areas, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with dispatch, site personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
