Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical‑related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports in accordance with site‑specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
