Clinical Nurse - High-Risk Cardiology (Day Shift)

Role Overview Our High-Risk Cardiology unit provides crucial care for patients with various cardiac conditions, including CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and prosthetic devices. The unit emphasizes patient-centered care, advanced medication infusions, and post-procedure recovery, with a team of registered nurses, medical professionals, and support staff. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation within nursing standards. Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and home care needs. Promote patient safety, quality, and compliance, participating in professional development. Develop and communicate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Maintain safety awareness as a critical component of the role. Qualifications Education required includes a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree. An RN license is mandatory. Prior experience is not required, but less than two years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.
