Express Chipping provides specialized services to the ready-mix concrete industry. Express Chipping provides specialized services to the ready-mix concrete industry. Our business is highly relationship-driven, and we are looking for someone who understands the industry, its people, and how long-term business relationships are built. The Opportunity This is a field-based market development and relationship management position - not a traditional inside-sales or high-volume cold-calling role. The successful candidate will spend significant time with customers, visiting ready-mix operations, developing new relationships, strengthening existing accounts, attending industry events, and representing Express Chipping throughout the Southeast. We are particularly interested in experienced professionals who have built their careers within the ready-mix concrete industry . Ideal backgrounds may include: Area or Regional Manager Ready-Mix Operations Manager Plant Manager Sales or Commercial Manager Fleet or Operational Leadership Other concrete, cement or aggregates professionals with strong ready-mix industry relationships What We're Looking For The right person will: Have meaningful ready-mix or concrete industry experience Understand ready-mix operations and plant culture Have established relationships within the industry Be highly personable and relationship-oriented Be comfortable working with plant personnel, managers and senior leadership Enjoy spending time in the field with customers Be self-directed, organized and accountable Be comfortable with regular regional travel Have strong communication and follow-through Understand that long-term relationships and reputation drive business Responsibilities The Market Development Manager will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, supporting and expanding existing accounts, identifying market opportunities, maintaining regular customer contact, and working closely with Express Chipping's operations team to ensure a high level of customer service. This position will cover the Southeast United States . Candidates located in Georgia, Florida, or other major Southeast markets will be considered.
