Storefront Associate

Chickadees in downtown Marquette has an opening for a Great Part-Time Sales Associate. We offer an exceptionally friendly work environment with the best customers in the world. The position requires a very friendly person who can work independently, loves what we sell, and can always provide "over the top" customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• “Go the extra mile” to service customers and drive sales
• Actively seek out customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Cross-sell products
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Build productive trust relationships with customers

Requirements:

• Retail experience is helpful but not essential.
• Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs
• Must be capable of working alone
• You are on your feet during your entire shift
• Possible fill-in or short shifts during the week.
