Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, design, and execution of land development projects from concept through construction.Direct multidisciplinary design teams in all aspects of project delivery, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, erosion control, utility design, and associated calculations and reports.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term relationship development.Partner with the Department Manager to support business development initiatives, including client outreach, proposal preparation, and project pursuits.Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients and enter new geographic and market sectors.Collaborate with Dewberry teams across the organization to deliver complex, high-impact projects and leverage the firm's full range of capabilities.Develop, and manage project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and overall project performance.Guide projects through regulatory review processes and coordinate approvals with local, state, and federal agencies.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for junior and mid-level staff.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.Required Skills & Required ExperienceBS degree in Civil Engineering, or Landscape Architecture.10+ years of experience in the design and management of land development and capital improvement projects.North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license, or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) required, or the ability to obtain within two months.
