Sales associates are the primary customer-facing personnel who provide fast, efficient, and professional service while accurately managing transactions. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while accurately managing transactions such as wires, check cashing, loans, money orders, bill payments, and top-ups, lottery tickets and online sales. The Sales Associate is responsible for handling and balancing cash drawers, maintaining confidentiality of customer information, and ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, this position identifies cross-selling opportunities, provides prompt and professional assistance with customer inquiries, and proactively enhances the company's acceptance and branding in the market by applying best practices and consistent service excellence.

Office Environment. Open sales floor or a supermarket customer service booth. The environment in this position may vary based on the location of the store. It is expected that the noise level in commercial locations is at a moderate level.

Transaction Processing: Wires, cash checks, loans, and sell various company products like money orders, bill payments, lottery tickets and online sales, top-ups and reloads.

Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate for their needs.

Cash Management: Each shift associate must count and balance cash drawers, verify balance with the system, and handle cash responsibly to prevent errors and maintain accuracy. Process deposits from and to the bank. Handling of cash received and delivering by agents.

Cross-Selling: Identify and recommend additional company products and services that meet customer needs, cross-selling focused on meeting goals. Use available company materials (flyers or prizes) to promote and offer the company's products.

Compliance & Security: Comply with company, state and federal policies and regulations, maintain client confidentiality and identify and report any inappropriate or suspicious activity.

Record Keeping: Keep track of all shift transactions and other relevant information using the company's systems or procedures.

Marketing & Promotion: Support company marketing initiatives when required, such as distributing flyers, sharing promotional materials with customers, or assisting with in-store and out-of-store campaigns, always ensuring professionalism and alignment with company branding.

Other Tasks: Other tasks of a similar nature, scope, or level of responsibility as assigned by Management (e.g., assisting with in-store and out-of-store promotions, supporting marketing initiatives, or helping with operational improvements).

Entorno de oficina. rea de ventas abierta o mdulo de atencin al cliente en un supermercado. El entorno de este puesto puede variar segn la ubicacin de la tienda. Se espera un nivel de ruido moderado propio de los locales comerciales.

Responsabilidades clave:

• Procesamiento de transacciones
• Gestin de transferencias, cobro de cheques, prstamos y venta de diversos productos de la empresa, tales como giros postales, pago de facturas, boletos de lotera, ventas en lnea y recargas de saldo.
• Atencin al cliente
• Actuar como primer punto de contacto para los clientes, responder preguntas y dirigirlos al rea adecuada segn sus necesidades.
• Gestin de efectivo
• Cada empleado debe contar y cuadrar las cajas registradoras, verificar el saldo con el sistema y manejar el efectivo de manera responsable para evitar errores y garantizar la precisin. Procesar depsitos bancarios (entradas y salidas) y gestionar la entrega y recepcin de efectivo.
• Venta cruzada
• Identificar y recomendar productos y servicios adicionales de la empresa que satisfagan las necesidades del cliente, enfocndose en la venta cruzada para alcanzar los objetivos. Utilizar los materiales disponibles (folletos o premios) para promocionar y ofrecer los productos de la empresa.
• Cumplimiento y seguridad
• Cumplir con las polticas y normativas de la empresa, as como con las leyes estatales y federales; mantener la confidencialidad del cliente e identificar y reportar cualquier actividad inapropiada o sospechosa.
• Registro de informacin
• Llevar un registro de todas las transacciones del turno y otra informacin relevante utilizando los sistemas o procedimientos de la empresa.
• Marketing y promocin
• Apoyar las iniciativas de marketing de la empresa cuando sea necesario, como distribuir folletos, compartir material promocional con los clientes o colaborar en campaas dentro y fuera de la tienda, garantizando siempre el profesionalismo y la coherencia con la imagen de marca de la empresa.
