Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night), with a minimum of every other weekend required.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
• TNCC must be provided prior to start, NIHSS required prior to start.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Large, teaching facility experience required.
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
• Prior travel experience preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
• No block schedules for any reason.
• Bi-weekly orientations on Monday.
• Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
