If you're someone who gets energized by technical challenges, moves with urgency, and takes pride in getting products across the finish line, this is your opportunity.Key Role Responsibilities:Design, validate, and document assembly processes, tooling, gauges, and fixtures to build product efficiencyDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation including design control records, product configurations, manufacturing procedures, lot history records, bills-of-materials, and Quality System requirementsDrive cross-functional Manufacturing reviews with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to ensure seamless and timely product transitionsLead and actively participate in process/product continuous improvement projects with measurable outcomesProvide extensive electromechanical troubleshooting capabilities and instrumental expertise to rapidly resolve build issuesLead root cause analysis, diving deep into technical details until problems are fully understoodDemonstrate proficiency in CAD design, rapid prototyping, tool/fixture qualification, and equipment sourcingDrive process characterization, validation, and Test Method ValidationSupport and work with Quality to proactively address and resolve non-conformances before they impact productionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in mechatronic engineering, mechanical engineering or related fieldMinimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience with demonstrated progression of responsibilityStrong manufacturing engineering background in process documentation.Electromechanical Systems: Extensive troubleshooting capabilities across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation domainsCAD Proficiency: rapid prototyping, and design for manufacturing analysis.Manufacturing Processes: Deep knowledge of precision assembly processes, and sourcing manufacturing tools, gauges, and fixtures.Documentation: Proven experience developing design control documentation, manufacturing procedures, and quality system recordsExperience with surgical robotics platforms or high-precision medical devicesBackground in high-mix, low-volume precision manufacturing environments.Experience with MES systems and PLM tools in regulated industries.Proactive Ownership: Takes full accountability for outcomes; identifies and solves problems before they escalate.Attention to Detail: Obsessive about getting the details right while maintaining momentum on larger objectives.High Drive: Self-motivated with relentless pursuit of excellence; thrives under pressure and tight timelines.Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams while maintaining individual accountability.Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects.This position will require up to 10% travelThe attendance policy for this requisition is Fully OnsiteJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
