About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required Certifications: CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course), NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and ACLS required Must-Have: BSN highly desired Description: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment. It treats every type of patient. Emergency Room nurses manage critical care skills, such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care cases to pediatric and critical care/trauma patients. Nurses coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing needs. The goal is to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
