What You’ll Do As a Senior Property Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of a residential real estate portfolio by: Preparing monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Managing month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash balances Coordinating wire transfers and owner distributions Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages for stakeholders and property owners Recording depreciation and amortization schedules Supporting development accounting, including draw requests and project reporting Reviewing and approving accounts payable transactions Tracking security deposit activity and refunds Calculating and filing sales and use tax requirements Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate, property management, or a related industry Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting processes Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with property management or accounting software is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Why Consider This Opportunity?
