Job Description

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Valid Florida SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Compassionate and patient approach to working with children

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
• Develop and tailor treatment plans based on individual student needs
• Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to support academic and social development
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, thorough documentation
• Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services, including both group and one-on-one interventions
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current on best practices in school-based speech therapy
