Job Details
The front-of-house management team is seeking Host/ess to join them in welcoming guests to The Chelsea Living Room , a chic, supper club/lounge concept .
Host/ess Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional, and courteous demeanor, while building positive relationships
- Confidently manage the reservations system and client database utilizing existing reservations platforms, Resy & SevenRooms
- Maintain a strong understanding of Chelsea Livingroom's menu offerings, culinary style, concept, reservation policies, hours of operation, and general restaurant information to address guest questions.
- Handle a range of guest interactions, including reservations, confirmation calls/notifiers, booking requests, and pick-up/delivery coordination
- Ensure the dining room and restaurant remain clean and organized, following all health and safety guidelines
Host/ess Requirements: (Versatility to rotate in as a cocktail/bottle server)
- Previous experience as a host or reservationist preferred, ideally within a "vibe-dining" restaurant, luxury hotel environment, upscale lounge/supper club.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for hospitality and guest service
- Friendly, energetic personality with a team-oriented mindset and clear, positive communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Stand and move for extended periods, and navigate stairs as needed
- Flexible, full-time availability to accommodate business demands
- Cocktail/Bottle Server Experience as this position entails week-end late-night commitment
