Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires critical thinking, proficient nursing skills, and the ability to manage high-pressure clinical situations.

Shift Information

• Days: 7 AM - 7:30 PM
• No On-Call Duties
• No Floating Between Units

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• CPI certification required but can be obtained after contract start (provided on-site)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Department settings
• Skills in critical care assessment and management, IV administration, and cardiac monitoring

Responsibilities

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will perform the following responsibilities:

• Triage patients effectively, ensuring timely assessment and care
• Demonstrate critical thinking and excellent assessment skills
• Administer IVs and manage invasive procedures such as catheterization and chest tube care
• Maintain comfort and safety with critical care medication drips
• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Unit Information

• Emergency Department with 16 beds
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1 (variable)
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Electronic Medical Record System: First Net - Cerner
