Note that there is a blackout period for Labor Day.RequirementsActive RN LicensureCertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRPCrisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required, may be obtained after contract start (provided on-site)Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency DepartmentProficient in critical care assessment and management, IV skills, and cardiac monitoringScope of DutiesThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following:Triage of patientsExercising critical thinking and strong assessment skillsPerforming nursing tasks including IV/IO administration, chest tube management, catheterization, and monitoring critical care dripsPatient Care EnvironmentThe unit consists of 16 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1, which may vary based on operational needs.Uniform and EquipmentScrub Color: Royal BlueElectronic Medical Record System: FirstNet - CernerAdditional InformationTravelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the position.
