Our multidisciplinary team includes specialists from anesthesiology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, Emergency Medicine, neurology, and other fields who work together to find the best care for each patient. Clinical Nurse, Outpatient opportunity in the Pain Management Clinic The preferred candidate will be a high performer with the ability to demonstrate initiative, high-level critical thinking, and professionalism. Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Depending on the needs of the department, the nurse will be required to occasionally stay late to finish the clinic. Salary Range Annual: $68,000 minimum - $105,200 midpoint - $142,500 maximum Hourly breakdown: minimum $32.69 - midpoint $50.58 - maximum $68.51 What's in it for you? Summary The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse is to positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based direct patient care across the continuum of care for patients. The highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources are achieved in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Service Orientation: Provide service to our customers, including patients, patient caregivers, referring physicians and each other, in a reliable, responsive, safe, friendly and courteous manner. Education Required: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing License/Certification Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if working in the following department: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if working in the following departments: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761) or Pedi - Child & Adolescent Center (113200). Preferred: OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification, Certification in specialty practice. Experience Required: None. Preferred: Two years of relevant nursing experience Other Requirements All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
