Forklift Operator III

Warehouse AssociateOur client, a leading food distribution company located in Warrendale, PA, is seeking Warehouse Associates to support their fast-paced warehouse operations. This role is responsible for the storage, movement, and handling of materials and finished goods, with a focus on receiving and putting away inbound produce.Key Responsibilities:Receive and put away all inbound produce and warehouse goodsPerform shipping and receiving dutiesComplete order filling, picking, and packing tasksMaintain accurate inventory control and records managementFollow FIFO (First In, First Out) product rotation proceduresSafely operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacksSupport general warehousing and dispatch functions as neededRequired Qualifications:Previous experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or inventory controlAbility to safely and effectively operate powered industrial equipmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailFluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)Ability to work in a physically active role, including standing, lifting, and walking for extended periodsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in a food or perishable goods distribution environmentFamiliarity with inventory management systemsPrior experience with FIFO rotation practicesAbout the Role:Contract Type: Contingent/Industrial labor assignmentPositions Available: 2Location: Warrendale, PA (on-site)Schedule: Sunday through Friday (off Saturday and one weekday), evening shift beginning at 5:30 PM until work is completed (approximately 9-10 hours per shift); schedule subject to change based on client needsHours: Approximately 40 hours per weekTravel: None requiredInterview Process: In-person interviews requiredCompensation: Competitive rateThis is a great opportunity for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join a well-established organization in the food distribution industry.
