Senior Accountant

This position will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end financial activities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for financial fluctuations. Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting. Maintain and support general ledger accounting functions. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support accounting and finance initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Strong general ledger accounting experience required. Experience with month-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations. Ability to analyze financial results and identify variances. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a plus.
