The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in general machine maintenance and be available for an early morning training shift, with the likelihood of transitioning to a second shift.Key Responsibilities:Perform general maintenance and repair on various types of machinery and equipment.Utilize a range of hand tools efficiently for diagnostic and repair tasks.Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace components such as gears, belts, and chains.Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on small motors.Identify mechanical malfunctions and implement timely solutions.Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company operational procedures.Maintenance Technician Qualifications:Required Skills & Experience:Demonstrated experience in general maintenance, specifically with machine repair.Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools.Working knowledge of mechanical components including gears, belts, chains, and small motors.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Preferred Skills & Experience:Prior maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting.Welding experience is preferred but not required.Physical Requirements:Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.Capable of performing physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle ReportPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
