Description Veterinary Client Service Representative / Veterinary Receptionist Description Veterinary Client Service Representative / Veterinary Receptionist Heart of Texas Round Rock, TX Full-time schedule, evening shift: Sunday-Wednesday, 2pm-12am. Shift differential is available for night and weekend shifts. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $17 – $19/hour. The final pay will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. About You You are a compassionate, organized Veterinary Client Service Representative or Veterinary Receptionist with front desk experience in a busy animal hospital, specialty hospital, emergency setting, or high-volume client service environment. You are confident managing appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, check-in and check-out, payment processing, client communication, and practice management software while helping clients feel supported during each visit. Responsibilities Your Experience & Skills Welcome clients and patients promptly with a friendly, professional approach Check in patients efficiently and help guide clients through the visit process Schedule appointments, manage client flow, and support front desk coordination Answer and route incoming calls while supporting client questions, appointment needs, and hospital communication Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and waiting area Process payments, handle cash accurately, and balance client accounts Update client and patient files, document communications, and maintain clear records in the practice management system Required Minimum 1 year customer service experience in front desk or reception role Strong phone and communication skills Experience with scheduling and appointment coordination Ability to work the posted schedule Preferred Veterinary reception experience highly preferred ER/specialty experience Practice management software experience Bilingual Spanish is a plus You’ll Grow with Us Skills Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
