This role is pivotal in guiding the management of clinical practices for both employed and contracted physicians within our organization’s Physician Enterprise, Ambulatory Care, and Clinical Councils. The position entails the formulation and execution of clinical programs, protocols, and a clinically integrated network. Collaboration with the Chief Physician Executive is essential for developing and managing provider compensation structures, contracts, and the integration and advancement of services for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Additionally, it is crucial to ensure compliance with all governmental and regulatory standards within the Physician Enterprise and Ambulatory Care sectors.
The responsibilities include overseeing and establishing programs that nurture positive relationships among physician practices and the service delivery entities of our organization. This role ensures a productive collaboration with both system and community medical leadership. Actively supporting the recruitment and development of physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and physician leaders within the Physician Enterprise and Ambulatory Care is also a key focus. As a primary leader in clinical matters related to the Physician Enterprise, this position will work closely with the VP of Operations, Dyad Medical Directors, and Dyad Administrative Directors to align and integrate physician practices, ensuring efficient, high-quality care and community access. Strategic planning, alignment with system-wide initiatives, and providing senior-level leadership, guidance, and oversight are also critical components of this role.
Collaboration with administration, hospital leadership, Catholic Medical Partners, and medical staff leadership is vital to maximize the efficiency of clinical aspects of patient care. Establishing a medical group culture that is patient-centered, evidence-based, and interdisciplinary is essential, with a continuous focus on improving patient experience, safety, and quality while minimizing costs. Educating physicians and caregivers, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and implementing strategies that promote patient-centered, evidence-based care are key responsibilities.

Annual salary range: $289,828.50 - $434,752.50

Utilization of Epic EMR
Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license or have NYS licensure in progress, active by the date of hire, along with an active NYS DEA certificate
Board Certification in a clinical specialty is required
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
Preferred: MBA, MHA, MSM, or MSHA
A minimum of ten (10) years of leadership experience in healthcare management, with a strong understanding of healthcare administration, finance, and regulatory requirements is essential. Significant leadership experience, including practicing medicine and holding medical staff or administrative leadership roles such as Chief of Staff, Department Chair, or Chief Medical Officer, is required
Experience in a large, multi-specialty integrated healthcare delivery system is necessary
Experience in Medical Group Practice Management is required; multi-specialty group practice management experience is preferred
