Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position on an acuity-adaptable brain/spine unit requiring night shifts and at least 2 years of experience.

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit of a hospital environment
• Acuity-adaptable brain/spine patient population
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to acuity-adaptable brain/spine patients
• Longer contract lengths available for candidates starting in September, ranging from 13-16 weeks
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state
• Candidates should begin discussing contract extensions with their manager about 45 days before the assignment end date
