Route Relief Driver - Uniform

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a Route Sales and Service Driver - Route Relief . The role involves driving and providing services to customers on designated routes in your community. We are looking for extremely motivated, sales‑oriented drivers. Compensation is paid on commission based on sales you develop. The Route Relief Driver pay is $24.15 an hour. The starting pay is based on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment. Once a route is assigned the average total annual compensation for the Route Sales and Service Representative position is over $80K with potential for much more. Benefits Full‑time employment with full benefits Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Retirement savings program Paid time off (sick, holiday, vacation) Qualifications Must have sales and customer service experience Must have a clean driver’s license Must be able to drive a 26’ bobtail truck Must be comfortable loading/unloading your own truck with up to 50 LBS bags of linen daily Must pass the drug tests and clinic physical Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with the company’s standards. Call on prospective customers to solicit new business. Inform regular customers of new products or services. Drive truck to deliver laundry and/or uniforms to customers’ places of business. Collect or pick up rejected or unsold laundry and/or uniforms, and load/unload truck. Develop and maintain customer goodwill by providing assistance and demonstrating courtesy at all times. Conduct business in a professional manner to minimize or eliminate customer complaints. Handle complaints and questions in the same manner as stated, ensuring the supervisor is kept informed and able to assist if necessary. Listen to and resolve service complaints. Maintain inventory and follow the company’s inventory‑control policies. Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer invoices. Obtain customer signatures on invoices for pickup or delivery. Record delivery and inventory information on daily invoices. Clean inside the truck and perform routine maintenance. Attend training and service department meetings.
