Manufacturing Recruiter

Location: Chattanooga, TN

System One is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Recruiter to join the team supporting Master Machine , a growing manufacturing organization in Chattanooga, TN. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a recruiter who understands the challenges of recruiting skilled manufacturing and technical talent and enjoys partnering directly with hiring managers to build strong teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for manufacturing, machining, fabrication, engineering, quality, or other technical positions and will be comfortable sourcing both highly skilled professionals and hard-to-find skilled trades candidates.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from job intake through offer and onboarding.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team needs, and hiring priorities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill manufacturing and technical positions.
• Recruit for positions such as Machinists, CNC Machinists, Welders, Assemblers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality/QA professionals, Maintenance, and other technical roles.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, social media, employee referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct initial candidate interviews and assess technical experience, work history, communication skills, and overall fit for the position.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear summaries of their experience and qualifications.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
• Coordinate interviews, provide timely candidate communication, and help ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Partner with hiring managers to continually improve job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and candidate requirements.
• Track recruiting activity and provide regular updates on open positions, pipelines, and hiring progress.
• Stay informed about local manufacturing labor-market conditions and recruiting challenges in the Chattanooga area.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, skilled trades, or technical recruiting .
• Demonstrated success recruiting difficult-to-fill positions.
• Experience recruiting skilled manufacturing and/or technical talent .
• Ability to understand technical job requirements and translate them into effective candidate searches.
• Strong sourcing and candidate-development skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively with hiring managers and candidates at all levels.
• Strong organization and follow-through with the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, job boards, and other recruiting technology.
