Enterprise Account Executive

Astound is a leading provider of internet, WiFi, mobile, and TV services that connects communities and empowers lives through innovative technology. Position Summary The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for outside sales to enterprise-level commercial customers, including large business customers for internet and telephone services. Responsibilities include proactively identifying new customer sales opportunities, defining customer needs, preparing proposals, closing deals, and managing installation projects to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct proactive outside sales activities, including cold-calling and door-to-door outreach Perform needs assessment, application development, proposal presentation, and order negotiation Negotiate to secure contracts with telecommunications decision makers to drive revenue growth and retention Manage installation projects with various teams for timely delivery and successful turn-up Respond to customer requests for information, support, assistance, joint proposals, and pricing Support others within the sales/service team to achieve customer satisfaction Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5 years of B2B technology sales experience Proven success selling telecommunications and internet services to end-user customers, large business, and government accounts Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Ability to build and maintain a base of business Experience selling to C-tier executives within an organization Expertise in systems selling, consultative sales techniques, customer needs analysis, and sales opportunity development Technical knowledge of network and transmission design and local access services Knowledge of switched and dedicated services, and associated end-user and carrier applications Operational understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes Knowledge of marketing principles, tools, and processes Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a dynamic environment Excellent communication skills via telephone, correspondence, and in person Strong problem-solver with a big-picture view Basic computer, typing, and mathematics skills; familiarity with standard office equipment Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Benefits 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Medical, dental, vision, life, and STD insurance Paid Time Off/Vacation: 80 hours per year, increasing with tenure Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year Paid Holidays: 7 days per year Paid Sick Leave: variable by state/local laws Tuition reimbursement program Employee discount program Compensation Base salary in MA: $85,000 annually, with opportunities for bonus, benefits, and commission.
